Our Story
La Banca translates to “The Bank” in Italian — a nod to our classic Italian spirit and timeless style. We opened in December 2024 with a simple idea: pair home-style Italian cooking with the warm hush of a vintage speakeasy. You’ll find seasonal menus for both food and cocktails, crafted with fresh ingredients and time-honored techniques. Walk-ins welcome — come linger and stay a while.

La Banca is locally owned by three families with deep roots in hospitality and community.
- Jeff & Patricia Hoops — Visionary hospitality owners of The Venetian Estates and The Grand Patrician Resort. Their achievements and family legacy of entrepreneurship inspire the guest-first details at La Banca.
- Robert & Sarah Tant — U.S. Veteran, owners of Active Medical, proud of their Italian heritage, and active in community and youth sports. They bring a service-first mindset and mentorship culture to our team.
- William & Amy Browning — Owners of Active Medical with Italian family roots. Engaged in community and youth sports outreach, they champion La Banca’s mission of connection, quality, and generosity.

Historic Building â–¸
Our home once housed the City Bank of Milton, a cornerstone of the community since the early 1900s. The vault-inspired details, warm lighting, and 1920s design pay homage to that history — while today’s menus write a new chapter.
